Luna Dance Institute

Program name:

Moving Parents and Children Together (MPACT)

Program Last Updated: 04/06/2017

Program Start Date: 04/15/2017 | Program End Date: 06/10/2017

Program AKA (also known as): MPACT

Program Description: MPACT classes provide families with a safe, comfortable environment to play and dance together. They facilitate the parent-child bond through relationship-based dance curriculum, and help parents and caregivers gain confidence in their ability to interact physically with their children. In addition to being a lot of fun, family dance classes are great preparation for very young children to eventually participate in a creative dance class on their own, learning to take direction from a new, adult teacher while staying true to their own ideas. This winter MPACT classes will be held Saturdays 1/21-3/18/17 at the West Oakland library from 11am - 12pm (no class on 2/18 & 3/18), and at the 81st Ave. Library in Oakland from 1pm - 2pm (no class 2/18). Please check our website at http://lunadanceinstitute.org/current-schedule-mpact/ for current schedule details.
