Make a kite and fly at Berkeley's famous kite festival.

It’s time for Berkeley’s Annual Kite Festival! Your family is invited to come and make a kite or bring your own to fly in the sky! Need help with your kite? Take a free kite flying lesson! Walk around the kid’s area and perhaps play on the bounce houses, make art or get your face painted with your child! There’s plenty of engaging activities at the Berkeley Kite Festival. Free shuttle is offered from Golden Gate Fields.

Be entertained with stories about nature and wildlife. After storytime, families will have the opportunity to explore the creek and discover local aquatic plants and animals. It is recommended to wear closed-toe shoes.
