Program Description: Strong Families Alliance of Alameda County is a 13-member coalition of social service providers committed to preventing child abuse. It also provides us the opportunity to lead a county-wide child abuse awareness campaign and utilize our 24-hour Parenting Stress Helpline as the link to referrals to our own and other Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment services in Alameda County. The goal is to provide all parents and caregivers easy access to vital services and promote the Strengthening Families Five Protective Factors as proven strategies that help families get through difficult times.
