Individuals experiencing food insecurity can visit the East Oakland Collective’s distribution hub for free, freshly prepared meals from local restaurants and a selection of groceries including produce, meat, and shelf-stable items. Onsite registration is required, and on a first come first served basis. Priority will be given to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and pregnant women.Spanish interpretation will be available.

Children are invited to enjoy a Storytime filled with rhymes, books, and songs, followed by free play with toys and access to outdoor gardens and a play area. The program is especially suited for ages 18 months to 4 years, with snacks for kids and tea and coffee available for parents.

Everyone is welcome to drop in and explore their creativity by building unique LEGO® designs during this in-person maker time. A LEGO® Duplo set will be available for younger children, and adults are asked to supervise kids under 9.
