Groceries available at no cost throught The Marketplace.
Tri-City Volunteers Food Bank offers local families access to a variety of healthy foods including fresh produce, whole grains, dairy, and more. The Marketplace allows visitors to choose items based on their needs, providing a welcoming and supportive environment.

Oakland – BANANAS Playgroups
BANANAS offers in-person playgroups for young children with art, music, and hands-on activities.
Families can connect through play, enjoy a light snack, and explore community resources in a welcoming setting. The program is designed for children ages 0–5 and caregivers and includes optional registration to stay informed about future activities.

Alameda – Music in the Parks

Ozzy’s Music Academy and the Alameda Recreation and Parks Department invite families with children of all ages to enjoy a weekly morning music session.
Play ukuleles, guitars, electric pianos, and electronic drum sets at an instrument petting zoo, and bring guitars or ukuleles with broken strings to get them repaired and tuned. Parents and caregivers must stay with their children, and registration is required.
