Fremont Library is offering families a shared reading program that supports children using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.
Families and children ages 7 and under are invited to enjoy a special story and language session designed for emergent communicators. Parents and caregivers will learn how to use assistive communication tools while everyone enjoys stories, songs, and connection time together.

The Albany Library offers families a hands-on music storytime.
Families are invited to a music session using basic percussion instruments. Instruments will be provided for babies and toddlers.
Date: Every 2nd & 4th Sunday
Time: 1:30PM - 2:30PM
Cost: Free
Location: Albany Library, 1247 Marin Ave., Albany
The Fremont Library offers a guided bird walk around Lake Elizabeth.
Participants can explore local wildlife while walking a 2.5-mile loop at a relaxed pace with time to observe birds along the way. The program is designed for all ages and includes an outdoor meet-up at the Civic Center side of the library parking lot with no registration required.

Help Me Grow Alameda County is a no-cost information and referral helpline for the babies you love. We can help you find a playgroup, find out when your child will start walking (or stop crying!) or help you prepare your child for school. Help Me Grow can answer the questions parents have about their kids ages birth to 5. No question too big or too small.
