Dublin – Ramadan Storytime
Celebrate Ramadan at Dublin Library.
Hina Khan-Mukhtar - a local Muslim educator, storyteller, and writer - will be sharing picture books about the upcoming month of Ramadan with students of all ages. She will be explaining the rite of fasting in the Muslim faith, how to be sensitive towards the needs of your fellow classmates and friends who may be observing the fasts, and any pertinent questions you may have about this core pillar of the religion of Islam. It should be a very educational hour that will leave you enlightened by the end of it!
