Virtual - Nurturing Parenting
Family Paths is inviting young and expecting parents to participate in a virtual parenting education series. The 10-week series focus on building safe, supportive environments for children while strengthening communication, confidence, and parenting skills. Sessions are designed for young and expecting moms and dads ages 21 and under who live in or attend school in Oakland, Piedmont, or Alameda, with other participants considered on a case-by-case basis. Albany - Baby Storytime
Visit Albany Library for a baby storytime. The interactive lapsit storytime is designed for babies up to 18 months and their adult caregivers. Stories will be shared, songs will be sung, and lap bouncing for 15-20 minutes, they after babies will be able to play with toys and meet new friends. Oakland - Storytime and Garden Play
Visit Elmhurst Branch for a storytime and garden play. Join in for stories, songs, and play! Storytime at 11AM, followed by free play in the community garden with library chickens!
