The Black Joy Parade returns for its 9th year in Downtown Oakland.
The Black Joy Parade brings the community together to celebrate Black businesses, artists, performers, and activists. The parade begins at 14th St. and Broadway and concludes at Broadway and Grand Ave.

Livermore Public Library is presenting a Black History Month jazz concert.
Ashley Jemison and Rhonda Sauce, with their ensemble, will present an afternoon jazz concert honoring Black history and musical tradition.

Coyote Hills Regional Park will host a Black History storytime.
Families are invited to gather in the garden to enjoy children’s books highlighting Black voices and experiences. Parent participation is required, and the program is wheelchair accessible.
