Berkeley – Celebrating Picture Books
Celebrate Picture Books at Berkeley’s Central Library. Join author-illustrator Rachel Michelle Wilson as she celebrates her debut picture book HOW TO PEE YOUR PANTS: THE RIGHT WAY with some absurd fun. Following a reading and Q&A, she will challenge picture book creators Bo Lu (Bao's Doll) and Eugenia Yoh (This is Not My Home) to a good, old-fashioned DRAW OFF. Audience members will have the chance to share suggestions and ultimately tell these creators what to do! Livermore – Sign Language: Stories and Songs
Join Livermore Library for sign language storytime. Enjoy a storytelling experience presented in American Sign Language (ASL). People of all ages and abilities are welcome to attend ASL Stories and Songs. Kei-Che Randle, a BlackDeaf woman, will share her favorite books in ASL and artistic performance with English interpretation by Apryl Chauhan. .
