Esta clase está diseñada para apoyar a las personas embarazadas hispanohablantes y a su equipo de apoyo en prepararse para un parto natural, sin medicamentos, o con pocas intervenciones. La clase abarca las etapas del trabajo de parto, recomendaciones acerca de cuándo llamar a su proveedor médico/ir al hospital, el proceso de registrarse al llegar al hospital, y qué esperar del proceso de "triaje". También le daremos consejos de qué incluir en su maleta del hospital, como hacer el trabajo de parto en casa, abogando por su familia/tomar decisiones informadas. El contenido de la clase se basa en los partos en hospitales pero hay elementos de la plática que se podrán aplicar a los partos fuera del hospital. Favor de traer a la clase: almohadas cómodas, agua para beber, una pelota de yoga si la tiene, un rebozo o una bufanda larga, y aceite para masajes.
