Families and community members are invited to enjoy this beloved weekly event at the Oakland Museum of California, featuring live music, dance, hands-on activities, and food trucks curated by Off the Grid. With late-night access to museum galleries, lawn games, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to kick off the weekend with fun for all ages.

Weekly food distribution is available at Centro de Servicios in Union City. 

This program provides fresh vegetables, dairy, meat, and non-perishable items to local families. Come early, as numbers are distributed starting at 9AM for the Tuesday and Thursday sessions. Everyone is welcome.

Time:  Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays: 11AM - 12PM & 1:30PM - 4:30PM monthly food boxes – must have food bank card) 

Tuesdays & Thursdays: 10AM – 12PM (food distribution)

Caregivers can learn about services such as Regional Center, IHSS, and SSI that support children’s growth and development. The workshop helps families understand available resources and how to access support systems for children with special needs.

Hands-on activities and crafts highlight flowers still in bloom and young animals emerging during the season at the lake. The program is open to all ages with adult participation required and is offered as a drop-in experience throughout the weekend.
