Oakland – The Bookout: A Juneteenth Family Story Hour at Kinfolx

Storyland Collective is inviting families to celebrate Juneteenth through stories and crafts.

Children and caregivers can enjoy read-alouds, art activities, and time together while exploring stories that celebrate Black joy, creativity, community, history, and excellence. The  event, presented in partnership with Marcus Books and Kinfolx, welcomes readers of all ages and is geared toward children ages 4–8. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy a hot chocolate before storytime begins.
