Fremont – Lake Elizabeth Bird Walk

Take a walk around Lake Elizabeth and go birding with Fremont Library.
Meet at the Civic Center side of the library parking lot near the blue drinking fountains to begin the bird walk around Lake Elizabeth. The 2.5 miles walk includes several stops to observe everything around.

Read Tagalog childrens’ books with TagAtPUSD (Tagalog education preservation organization based in Pleasanton). Speaking experience is not required. English translations will be shared and everyone is welcomed.

Alameda – Family Movie Matinee: The Sheep's Detective

Join Alameda Main Library for a Family Movie Matinee.
Movie showings are designed to create a sensory-friendly environment by keeping half the room lights on, lowering the volume, turning on movie captions, offering fidget toys to use during the movie, and leaving open seating with wobble cushions so kids have room to move around. Audience participants are welcome to bring in food, blankets, and pillows. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided during the movie screening.
