The food pantry is available to families in the listed cities above. Families can bring home a free bag of groceries.

Family paths offer parenting classes.
All types of parents-mothers, fathers, expecting parents, foster & kinship care providers, adoptive parents, LGBT parents, and others involved in parenting roles are invited to learn about positive parenting, child development, and more including self-care.

If you’re thinking of hiring a nanny, then this is the workshop for you! Hand in Hand: The Domestic Employers Network will discuss the details of being an employer, including your rights and responsibilities. The workshop will offer a variety of resources; tips for hiring and interviewing, establishing wages and a work agreement, how to ensure a fair, safe workplace, and the laws for nanny employment. Discussion will also offer ideas on how to create a positive, long-term relationship with your employee and time to talk about your experiences, ask questions, and share concerns.

Help Me Grow Alameda County is a no-cost information and referral helpline for the babies you love. We can help you find a playgroup, find out when your child will start walking (or stop crying!) or help you prepare your child for school. Help Me Grow can answer the questions parents have about their kids ages birth to 5. No question too big or too small.
