Oakland - MOCHA at the Library
Make art with MOCHA at Oakland Public Library. MOCHA returns to the library, beginning Fall 2024 to offer FREE weekly art workshops at 11 Oakland Public Library branches. Join MOCHA Teaching Artists in these workshops for children and families. Each week the Teaching Artist will present art related to a different theme, building creativity, socio-emotional, and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, and numerous other art forms. Fremont –Tiny Tots Yoga Time
It's yoga time at Fremont Library. Practicing Yoga helps kids to sleep better, improve emotional regulation, increase empathy, and improve mood and affect. This instructor led program will take the kids and their caregivers through gentle yoga poses. Recommended Ages: 2 - 5 years. Please dress appropriately and bring your own water, yoga mat or a towel. Livermore - Music & Movement
Get up and dance with Livermore's Civic Center Library. Enjoy songs and movement activities that build motor and social skills and increase independence as well as language development in your child. There will be lots of fun while moving to the music! Perfect for ages 1-5, but everyone is welcome. Class is outside on the library lawn and moved indoors if inclement weather occurs.
