MOCHA returns to the library, beginning Fall 2024 to offer FREE weekly art workshops at 11 Oakland Public Library branches. Join MOCHA Teaching Artists in these workshops for children and families. Each week the Teaching Artist will present art related to a different theme, building creativity, socio-emotional, and academic skills through painting, drawing, sculpting, and numerous other art forms. Enjoy songs and movement activities that build motor and social skills and increase independence as well as language development in your child. There will be lots of fun while moving to the music!
