Oakland - Community Adventure Pre-K Playgroups
The Oakland Parks, Recreation, and Youth Development Department is offering a free, year-long playgroup. Community Adventure Pre-K Playgroups is a free program for parents and caregivers with children ages 0-5, featuring arts and crafts, outdoor play, snacks, quarterly field trips, and other activities. Oakland – Afro-Play Oakland Family Playgroup (East Oakland)
Oakland families are invited to this Afrocentric playgroup. Afro-Play Oakland is an affinity-affirming space for families who identify as Black, African-American, or of the African Diaspora. Children and caregivers can enjoy Afro-centric activities in a warm and supportive environment, and donations are on a sliding scale, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.
