The Salvation Army Tri-Cities Corps gives away free groceries and fresh food.

The pantry serves Fremont, Union City, and Newark residents with weekly food distribution. Come early as lines often form before opening. Please bring proof of Tri-City residency.

The City of Alameda is inviting families to participate in free summer recreation activities for children and caregivers. 

Children can take part in games, creative play, and recreation activities during the afternoon drop-in program at local open spaces. The program is designed for a wide range of ages and gives families flexible opportunities to enjoy outdoor play and community activities throughout the summer. Registration is required.

Castro Valley Library hosting a dance class for toddler and their adults.

Little ones and their grown-ups can enjoy a fitness class featuring Ballet, Latin, Ballroom, and Hip Hop-inspired movements designed for young children. The class encourages families to move together, have fun, and build confidence through music and dance.
