Practice yoga with Oakland Public Library.
This class is designed for those new to yoga, as well as long-time practitioners. Accessibly paced, we will focus on the fundamentals of poses (asana), breathing, and being in community. This class is meant to ground students in their bodies, while not taking ourselves too seriously. Come as you are to the mat. Participants will need to wear comfortable clothing for movement and bring a yoga mat and small blanket (or bath towel), as well as any other supports they would like.
Date: Every Friday
Time: 4PM - 5PM
Location: Main Library, 125 14th St., Oakland
Cost: Free
