Program Description: Food Today: FoodNow.net is a food search tool to local “open to the public” food pantries and soup kitchens. (This tool is most helpful during the hours when the Food Helpline is closed - the Helpline can be reached at 510-635-3663, Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm). Spanish site - Comida Ahora: www.comidaahora.net Direct access to CalFresh: On www.foodnow.net, users will have two options--check if they pre-qualify for CalFresh and/or request to be contacted by a Food Bank outreach team member. They can also fill out a request for home-delivered groceries.
