Program Description: EPIC is an intensive 25 week school-based program for Medi-Cal eligible children ages 3.5-5 who have difficulty self-regulating their emotions and behaviors. Featuring social-emotional learning, occupational therapy, and trauma-focused play therapy, and school staff support, EPIC offers children, their families, and teachers skill building services that improve children’s capacity to self-regulate and respond age appropriately. The program also increases caregiver and teacher knowledge of child development and helps to build a community of support.
