Program Description: Another Road to Safety (ARS) program helps to strengthen the well-being of vulnerable families, maintain children in their homes with strong community-based services and support, and increase safety and protection of children. ARS advocates work together with families to develop a plan to address parenting challenges and/or difficult life situations. We also provide 6 months of intensive case management including service linkage to a broad range of community resources to help increase family success, stability and safety.
General Comments: We Serve Families Who: • Have minor children in their care • Have been referred by the Department of Children and Family Services for child safety and/or risk. • Have been referred by a community service provider for child safety concerns and/or risk, and resource linkages.
