Program Description: The After School Program is based on the Friendship Model, which is designed to help participants with developmental disabilities create and sustain meaningful friendships with peers with and without disabilities. This is accomplished through staff and volunteers modeling independent skills, healthy life-styles, as well as self-esteem - all through fun activities. Staff expose students to exciting sports recreation, yoga, group games, music, and arts & crafts and help them explore their potential and hidden talents through the various activities.
